St. Joseph Church

Several years ago, Lawrence Hoy Studios was commissioned to create a new tabernacle to match the original one in the historic high altar of this 1920’s church. Recently we were called back to design and build a new Confessional and a Shrine for the Divine Mercy in two existing niches in the nave. A new oak wood confessional with custom etched glass doors and decorative moldings replaced the previous confessional, an out-of-place 1980’s glass box. The new Shrine of the Divine Mercy with a bronze, oak wood and botticino marble frame was designed to replicate the Shrine of the Divine Mercy in Vilnius, Lithuania. Lawrence Hoy Studios’ patented LED flickering votive candles complement the image of the Divine Mercy.
